Deckadence Seafront is set on the foreshore of Edithburgh, approximately 2hrs and 45 minutes from Adelaide.
With amazing swimming beaches and a large tidal pool, Edithburgh is a great town for families.
Just by travelling a little way out of town you can visit some of the Yorke Peninusla’s greatest attractions. Troubridge Island Lighthouse, Coobowie Bird Hide, The Investigator Straight Shipwreck Trail and The Wattle Point Wind Farm are just some of the local attractions that are worth a visit during your stay in Edithburgh.
Edithburgh is a great fishing destination. Drop a line or a crab net from the Edithburgh jetty to catch mullet, gar, whiting and tommies or pull up a few blue swimmer crabs for a feed.
Head out in a boat to get a feed of whiting.
The town itself includes two hotels, The location cafe, take aways, a General Store ,playground, golf course and an all weather boat ramp.

- Walk directly opposite the house to collect shells & driftwood on Little Pebble Beach
- walk just 80 metres for a quick dip in the Tidal swimming pool.
- Grab the fishing rods and walk along the foreshore 300m to the jetty to catch a squid or some fish. You can also fish and catch squid opposite off the waterfront.
- Bring the scuba gear and go for a dive if you are a scuba enthusiast to see the leafy sea dragons or seahorses.
- Just walk across the road for a game of golf or a walk on the “Walk the Yorke” trail.
- For a night out it is a short walk to the 2 hotels or the wonderful Location cafe for lunch or dinner.
- Visit the artists gallery, museum, markets on Sunday or ride a bike to Sultana Point.
- Watch the dolphins from the verandah as they play in the shallow water.
- Drive out to Troubridge Lighthouse and look for whales in June/July.
- Or just relax on the verandah, enjoy the sea views, smell the sea air and watch life on the water.
